Understanding the EURC contract transition
A practical overview of what a contract transition means and what is still being prepared.
The EURC project, formerly known as BINOVA, has deployed a new ERC-20 token contract on Ethereum. The team has indicated that the decision followed concerns about a possible issue with a previous contract. A compromise has not been conclusively established in the information currently available.
What has changed?
The project now identifies a new Ethereum contract address as its current reference. A newly deployed contract is a separate on-chain asset: the old token balance does not automatically become a balance of the new token.
What does migration mean?
In general, a token migration is a planned process for transitioning holders from one token contract to another. Depending on its design, it might involve a snapshot, distribution, swap mechanism, or another documented process. No specific EURC holder migration mechanism, exchange ratio, eligibility rule, or deadline is confirmed on this site.
Where will instructions appear?
The project will share verified updates through its official Telegram channel. Until the procedure is announced and independently checked, holders should not send assets or sign transactions on the basis of unsolicited messages.
